Big Button Matching
A few months ago, I ordered these really fun big buttons. We've had lot of fun sorting them and looking at them together, but I wanted to also be able to use them for more self-directed activities for C's tot trays and R's workboxes. I made up some little cards that we can use. I thought I'd share them here, as well.
I put them in two separate files as the shapes are all black and white. The colors are, of course, in color. Simply click on shapes or colors to download a pdf file through google docs.
For c (now 22 months), I'll have her search either by shape or color. For R (4yo), I'll have him search for both at the same time.
If you don't have the big button set, you can still have lots of fun. Just have your child do a scavenger hunt for anything that meets the criteria. Here, R went through our box of play-doh tools.
Hope you enjoy it!

Where did you get your tray? It looks like it the perfect size!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that I didn't see this question before--as you can see, I haven't blogged in a while.
ReplyDeleteIn case anyone wants to know in the future, I bought the trays through Oriental Trading.
